Hello goblins and ghouls, it looks like it is time for 's yearly all hallows eve writing contest!
this year is called Camera Obscura. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs!
 I encourage everyone to try their hand at it, I know I am. This years contest involves participants receiving a randomly selected, creepy picture that they must then write a short PROSE piece about. The prizes are great I have already gotten my image, hopefully I have a chance to win.  Recently I have been filling my free time with a tabletop RPG called Pathfinder (by Paizo). It is a really fun game system that a few of my friends and I love to play. I highly recommend giving it a go, especially since it is almost all free online (www.d20pfsrd.com/), I will warn you, collecting D20 sets of dice can get competitive between friends (everyone wants the cool looking ones, and no one wants to have the same dice as someone else).
 Between six of us we have all the core rule books, this is mostly because the art in the books is amazing.

There are a few great writing groups and even more great writers and critics out there on DA. You should definitely check them out peoples. Like:
